This hand-carved fluorite owl shows a strong presence of color zoning — shifting between green, violet, and deeper plum along the grain of the stone. The sculptor followed the natural veins of the mineral, allowing the banding to form the suggestion of feathers across the wings and chest. The eyes are carved with depth, catching light with a soft translucence that brings focus to the expression.
