DISCOVER ATYĀHĀRA

Atyāhāra is Sanskrit for gluttony — and a question we keep asking ourselves. Do you need the rarest stone, or the right one? These are minerals carried up from the earth, carved with restraint, and meant to live with you.

THE COLLECTION

For your home, your altar, your wrist.

founder portrait — workshop, side light
studio detail — hands carving

A family workshop that learned to carve before it learned to sell.

Every piece begins with a single stone, chosen not for its perfection, but for its story. In our workshop, three generations work side by side, each bringing their own understanding of the material, their own relationship with time.

We don't rush the process. Stone teaches patience. It reveals itself slowly, and only to those willing to listen. What we create here isn't just décor—it's a conversation between hand, material, and heritage.

The amethyst freeform we picked up sits on my console exactly the way Viveka described it would — purple in the morning, almost black by evening. The card naming the Marabá mine was a lovely touch. It feels like an object with a passport.

I gifted the small rose quartz Ganesha to my mother for her 70th. She placed him on her puja shelf the same evening. She loves it!

  • Step 1 : The Journey Begins

At Atyāhāra, our commitment to quality begins at the source. India’s geological tapestry is as rich as its cultural heritage, and our work takes us deep into remote mines. We collaborate closely with local communities to ethically source the finest raw materials — from the Amethysts of Rajasthan and the Rubies of Karnataka to the Himalayan Quartz of Kullu. Each mine carries its own story, and we work to honor it.

  • Step 2 : From 'Raw' to 'Refined'

Once sourced, the raw stones begin their journey to our facility in Jaipur, India’s gemstone craftsmanship hub. Here, skilled artisans cut, polish, and shape the stones into the pieces featured on our site. Using high-grade machinery, we ensure each item meets Atyāhāra’s exceptional standards, transforming natural beauty into meaningful creations that enrich everyday life. This process is not just about creating products; it's about honoring the natural beauty of the stones.

  • Step 3 : Packing and Exporting with care

The final step in our journey is as crucial as the first. Our team uses eco-friendly and secure packaging materials, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and quality. From our facility in Jaipur, we then export these treasures to customers all over the world. For those who wish to experience our collection in person, we participate in trade fairs in Munich, Tucson, Denver and Tokyo, offering a unique opportunity to connect with us and explore our offerings firsthand.
