This carving captures the elongated silhouette of a monitor lizard—its body positioned low, forelimbs grounded, spine subtly curved. The natural structure of the labradorite has been followed rather than forced, allowing the internal flash to emphasize the ridge of the back and the slope of the tail. Under light, the stone shifts from graphite to electric blue and green, producing a controlled, directional sheen rather than a full-surface reflection.
