A hand-carved bowl shaped from natural jaspilite — a dense, ancient banded iron formation composed of hematite, red jasper, and quartz-chert layers. This material formed billions of years ago as iron and silica settled in rhythmic bands, giving the stone its characteristic dark metallic body and subtle red-brown mineral seams.
Compact, weighty, and visually grounded, this bowl works as a functional small catch-all or as a sculptural object that adds quiet depth to a shelf or desk.
Material: Natural Jaspilite (Hematite + Red Jasper + Chert)
Origin: India
Finish: Hand-carved, polished interior + exterior
Pantone Reference: 19-4007 TCX Jet Black (hematite), 18-1651 TCX Bossa Nova (deep red jasper tones), 14-4103 TCX Misty Blue (translucent chert / quartz veining)
Each piece is unique. Colour distribution, patterning, and tonal depth vary naturally from stone to stone.
