Cut from a single piece of chevron amethyst, this bowl exposes the stone's interior geometry in full: sharp zigzag banding in purple, white, and near-black runs across the interior in unbroken formation. The pattern isn't decorative — it's structural, the natural growth record of the crystal laid bare by the carving.
At the base of the interior, a single iron-oxide inclusion breaks the geometry — a closed circular form in rust and deep red, ringed in black. It reads as an interruption. It's the most interesting thing in the bowl.
The exterior is the same soft lavender throughout, giving nothing away. The contrast with the interior is the point.
